Kimberly grew up in Monroe, Louisiana.  She attended the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she majored in Public Relations and minored in Business.  After graduation, Kimberly worked in the Public Information Office department at City of Dallas where she managed public relations and wrote speeches for the City Manager and City Council members.  She then began planning community concerts and events for the Dallas Symphony Association.  After visiting a friend in New York City and getting a taste the "Big Apple", Kimberly resigned from her position, sold her car, packed her bags (in that order) and moved to New York City.  After her move, Kimberly worked for Court TV, Macy's Office of Publicity, Talk City Inc., and LesConcierges developing her public affairs, public relations and event planning skills.
